Ain't mentioning any names but someone on this MOC forum has reached 9000 plus post/replys. Wonder when he has time to breath.

Five stars are an indicator of the top of the line, I am wondering if Steve will get a sixth star when he hits 10000? Keep it up Steve, enjoy reading your comments.

LOL, Vicki! You must have acquired stock in patience considering Steve’s posts!
I figured when we pulled out on Monday that Steve would hit 9000 while I was gone, but I expected him to be at least closer to 9100 by now!
MOC just would not be the same without you, buddy!

Well said Vicki. We do congratulate Steve for this milestone - He has shown that he is deserving of this recognition. Since we've been involved on the MOC website for a little over a year now, Steve has always been willing to share his knowledge and experiences with us newbies and we certainly appreciate that. Thanks to Glenn and Lorraine for giving us a heads up on this milestone also.

Congrats to a great friend of MOC and of the Stevens. We know he cringes a bit at the "Legend", so we won't go there, but, he is a great guy, and Vicki is a likewise great gal! Hard to find 2 nicer, kinder, and more sharing individuals than these two! Our lives are better for knowing both Vicki and Steve! Thanks for being there for us!

Wow Steve, you're amazing! Of course so is Vicki with her never ending patience.
What everyone said about the MOC not being the same without you is a fact. Besides being a fabulous icon here you are a big part of why this place is so great and has been so successful. You've been here since the beginning like we have and it's grown much larger than any of us ever imagined.
So a big Congrats on your milestone. I wonder what title you will get when you hit 10 K.

We met Steve and Vicki when they were in Independence, MO and they are the nicest people to visit with. If you ever get a chance to meet them it is a great experience. They even know of good local places for a bit to eat. Steve, keep up with the helpful comments you make, we have learned a lot from you.

On behalf of Steve and myself, thank you all for all the kind and extremely generous words. I know I've been doing a lot of blushing! Charlie, Steve actually hopes the numbers will "roll over" at 10,000 and he'll be back to 1. Those of you who have met him know he talks a lot too!
We are still in Independence and it looks like we will be here a day or two longer than we had planned ... Steve injured his foot and is hobbling around with a cane and a cute little "support" shoe. He went to his 40th high school reunion Saturday and came home in extraordinary pain. His story (and he's sticking with it) is that he didn't do anything, it just started hurting. Anyway, after nearly four hours in the emergency room yesterday, the doctors finally decided he'd [somehow] sprained the arch and may possibly have a small stress fracture that just didn't show up on the x-rays. So, after fitting him with the shoe and giving him a prescription for Vicodin, they told him to stay off of it as much as possible and keep it elevated. As a result, we've had to cancel our planned barbecue for the family ... I can't begin to tell you how disappointed we are about that! We want to watch the fireworks tonight, so I'm going to drive him up to the upper level of the park where I can set up our chairs.
Our original plan had been to leave Independence tomorrow, but now we just don't know. The manager of the park has cleared the site for us to stay until Friday if necessary. Right now we're working on coming up with a "Plan B."
Thanks again!

Congratulations Steve. We met you and Vicki last year at the rally and you made us feel like you had known us forever. I have enjoyed conversing with you and doing the email thing. Keep up the good job and hope your foot heals quickly.
