Not too familiar with the subject, but think I have seen ads in the classifieds of magazines like Trailer Life and Highways. Might check a US Forest Service web site or state web site to see what they offer also. Here in central Oregon there were ads in our little weekly advertiser requesting volunteers for Forest Service sites.

Go to the State website you want to host in and go to the State Parks link. There should be a link to Volunteers there somewhere.

Stop and talk to the person in the Office or the CampGround Host at a Federal Campground. They will give you the name, address, phone number of the Contractor that hired them. Also they may have a lot of related info.

Subscribe to Workamper News. You can check out their website at www.workampernews.com. You will find paid jobs, volunteer jobs and everything in between. Talk to the camphosts in campgrounds you frequent and find out how they got their jobs. We have been workampers, both paid and volunteer, for 4 of the last 6 years and it is great fun. Another place to look is the Corps of Engineers website. Pick a state you want to visit and look on the state's website for volunteer opportunities.

tnorfitz,
We are currently Hosting at Fort Mountain State Park in North Georgia. We will finish up on this Friday as we are expecting a grandchild the first of July. We used the gastateparks.org website to sign up. This is our second time hosting and we really enjoy it. I believe most states have similar programs. When we leave, there will be no hosts at Fort Mountain fo the rest of the summer, so if anybody is interested here's your chance.
