Your New Web Pages Are Growing

Your new web pages are slowly growing, want to see, click on the HOME page at the top center of this page.

We invite you to go have a look, click around.

The rebuild is far from complete and the pages are changing here and there, so what you saw last week, may not be what you see this week.

If you have a blog, web page or a web site or a photo album with modifications that you would like to see added to the web site, please send the information, including your name, user ID, blog/web page/web site or photo album URL to the Webmaster at the email addy at the bottom of the web pages. You must contact Webmaster to be added to these pages.

The Webmaster only cares for your web pages, that means, the Webmaster has nothing to do with the forum itself. The only place the Webmaster can help or edit is on the web pages.

The web pages are meant to be an enhancement of this forum. We hope you feel that way too.

Remember, click the HOME button.

Sincerely, Your Webmaster

exav8tr,

Thank you for your interest in helping. I would like to explain a few things and then ask for additional assistance.

Those of us that were around from the start of the MOC know how much time and heart and soul Glenn put into the web pages, the ones that now are sadly out of date, the very ones that we are now replacing.

Glenn spent hundreds of hours building a collection of RV links that, were, beyond believable. Since his passing, the pages were left untended and now well over half of the links no longer are viable.

In the last weeks attempts have been made to start afresh, but using Glenn's work as the foundation for the new pages.

A page, such as this, GPS, was built from Glenn's pages, pages with 2 to 3 times the links as you see on this new page. Each and every one of Glenn's links were reviewed, opened, clicked on. As stated, about 1/3 of them were still viable, the other 2/3rds opened to dead pages. It took hours to rebuild just this one page.

Because Glenn's pages were so detailed and huge, it will take several more months to review them all. Until we are sure we have looked at every link, his pages are out there floating around in net land, and indeed if you click around enough from the new pages you may very well find yourself on one of Glenn's old pages.

Eventually Glenn's old pages will be removed and left to net heaven. We do this with sadness and regret, but, also knowing that Glenn himself would approve. He would want the pages to be current and viable.

No links on the new web pages opened to dead links when they were added (over the last 4 to 8 weeks). It could be that there are bad links there now. This internet thing moves faster than we can keep up!

So, exav8tr, could you look at these web pages and tell me if one of them is where you found links to Fulltimedreamer mod pages.

Glenn's old page for Show and Tell (modifications)

Our new page for members blogs and websites.

Our new page for modifications, or show & tell. You should not find any links on the new show & tell page that take you to Fulltimedreamer's old and now defunct modifcation pages.

Also, if this is not where you found the dead links, could you please provide a URL, best yet, a list of URL's showing the sites you visited to get to the bad pages. Recreate the visit, and tell me of each step, that would be a great help in cleaning up and hopefully improving the MOC Home Web pages.

If anyone ever does find dead links on any of the new pages, please let the Webmaster know, and of course, include the bad URL. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely, Webmaster

I can appreciate all the hours that Glenn indeed must have put into the forum pages; however, I’m glad to see that someone has taken on the task to complete his work. I like the way it’s looking, thanks for stepping up!
