Best tool Joyce thought I was an idiot to buy.

Here it is: Cordless Blower

Got it on sale so I didn't pay this much for it, but Joyce uses it to blow the patio off and I used it today to get the forest debris off the Monty. We are in a very wooded spot and leaves, twigs and who knows what piles up on the Monty weekly. I don't like going up there to start with and blowing it of the roof and slides makes the job easy on me and easy on the roof. It also helps that all my tools are 18v Mikita's so I have plenty of batteries.

I like it Dick. Sure beats carrying a gas one along. They make it so nice to blow the patio off.

Never thought of a carrying a electric leaf blower. I have always got up there with a broom when needed. I will have to keep my eyes open for a cheap one for keeping in the Monty. Thanks!

I use one also(Black and Decker-I think). Since I don't have slide toppers, I made a 90 degree nozzle that fits on the end of the blower and can stand on the ground or on a two-step stool and blow off my slideouts. Works well.

That's another great idea.

Drat, something else to add to my wish list. Such great knowledge can be expensive, but thanks for the superb ideas. Perhaps I can burn my old broom at our next campfire.

I use Ryobi tools so I have a charger and batteries. You can buy the blower on line from Home Depot for about $35 without the charger and batteries. They don't sell it that way in the stores.

I don't have a separate leaf blower for these jobs. I carry a small 2 gallon wet/dry vac that turns into a blower by switching the hose to the outlet. I put the vac in my Monty originally for spot cleaning the carpet when on the road. Found it works for cleaning off the slide outs too.
