Kingpin lock

I recently secured a storage location for my '03 3655FL. While the location is gated and locked, I am considering adding a kingpin lock. Camping World offers (3) models priced from about $15.00 to $36.00.
Has anyone purchased a lock, and do you have a recommendation? Thanks for this great resource and web page.

I strongly recoomend one, these days people steal everything.A lock won't stop a theif but it will hep keep an honest man that way.Besides if it is stolen then it might help for an insuranse claim. I have one thet I use even in our yard and always on the road.

I purchased a lock from Camping World. It won't go on if you use a tripod. It might be best to get one that does fit with the tripod. I also put a battery disconnect on my 5th so the jacks won't extend to allow them to be raised.

If I were you I would get a tri-pod stabilizer with the lock on it. That way you can have the stabilizer when you are camping and they are a snap to set up. Our tri-pod came with a lock on it and that's what we use. But I agree with Eagleone, if they want to steal it they are going to steal it with or without the lock.

Another option is to remove the battery when the rig is set up in storage.

These are al great ideas, thanks, another may be wheel chocks with a lock, maybe enough security between the king pin lock, no battery and locked wheels, that would deter most would be crooks

Thanks to everyone for the great ideas and suggestions. I am especially thankful for the idea of locking at a campsite. It certainly is a different world and mindset these days regarding other's property.
