The front part of the driveway is sloped and I was not standing up stright. I thought I had for sure knocked out some teeth and I did hit the front ones hard enough to bleed pretty good. I am only about 5 7 or so..I was 6 feet tall but Helen wore me down. for the pinbox to hit me in the chest I would have to be about 7 feet tall. Then I would have broke a rib or two.

Geeeeeze Rich, looks like that would have hurt. Just kidding. I'm so tall I would have taken out an Adams Apple for sure. I haven't walked into the hitch yet; but, I have raised up under the corner of the bedroom slide-out a couple of times. Didn't take any stitches; but, man did it hurt. The only good part was how good it felt when it did finally quit hurting.

Sorry to hear about your bump! DH walked into our hitch the first time it was parked in our very sloped driveway. Hit him in the chest and his chest ached every time he laughed or coughed. Probably cracked a rib, cause it was a long time healing. I don't envy you the experience of having those stitches removed. I had some removed from lower lip and I'm telling you what-it hurt BAD. My eyes watered, my nose ran and I wanted to. But, maybe your upper lip will be easier and less painful-I hope. I fell flat on face getting out of DDs hot tub. Let me just say-hot tubs, great wine, jazz for an hour and half do not mix well. Haven't been in a hot tub since.
