New 2007 How much Discount
Went to a RV show in Salem Oregon today and found some NEW 2007s for sale. What kind of discount should you expect to get since it is 2 yrs old and 2009s coming out now. It was marked down 34% from 59,000 to 39,000. By the way this was not a Montana ,but a Cardinal. Should you expect a 40% discount or more?

I had a local dealer down 34% to $44,500 on a $67,600 listed '08 Montana, but it is not equiped exactly how I would really like it. Since it's an '07 you're looking at, I would think you could knock a bit more off if you have the cash in hand and no trade-in ....but I'm no expert on this, and am kind of in the same boat as you are. I'm headed down there tomorrow to kick some tires and see what's out there. Were any dealers there showing new Montanas? I'm working a deal with a dealership in Indiana for a made to order '09 3605 RL Montana, so we'll see how that works out. But in the meantime, I still want to go and see what else is shakin'.

I would expect an 80% discount on a Cardinal.

I was hoping to see some Montanas, but there weren't any there. I was thinking that since it was a 2007, at least 40% with no trade and cash could buy it.

I didn't see any Montanas there either. :-( I was disappointed.
What I did see was that my wife and I have found that the 3605RL is the floorplan for us. The only one that we saw which was close to what we are looking for was a $90+k (show price) unit. The furnishings and cabinetry was top notch, but at double the price of a Montana, just not the right choice for us.
I think we got really lucky when we found the 3605RL within the first day of looking for something to replace our TT. With its ammenities, price point, and build quality, I think we have pretty much found the the perfect 5er for us. I highly doubt we will look any further.
