Works for us! Are they throwing in any free chips or slot tokens/cards??? Some people are never satisified, huh?

Thanks, Jim, for arranging the meal!

OK, where do we meet at Ameristar? We've never been to that casino but decided on our way back to Independence that we'll make an occasional trip out there while we're here.

I will keep 'working' them, when they find out what a nice bunch of folks we are, they may not let us leave...
There are many places inside in the common area we could meet, maybe the fountain would be best.
The overhead is painted light blue with realistic clouds, very pretty.
I could probably talk them into some good hotel rates if the need arises.

Ozz, the fountain sounds like the place to meet. There is only 1 fountain, isn't there? Would an early lunch, like about 11:30 be OK with every one or would a late lunch around 1:00 be better? Please weigh-in on this and it looks like we will have every thing set up. I am really looking forward to the meeting. Bob

Hi Guys and Gals,
Could we have a final count on the lucky ones coming to the get-together?
Sue and I will be there.

Vicki and I will be there. Either time is fine with us.

We went out there the other day to check out the location of the fountain as well as to donate some money to the institution.

For those unfamiliar, go in the main entrance, walk to the big cross hall and turn left. You'll see the fountain dead ahead maybe 50 yards or so.

Actually, there are two "main entrances" ... the one Steve is describing says "Casino" over the doors. The "main" main entrance says "Casino and Hotel" over the doors. The fountain is very easy to find.

If I were able to come, I'd go Steve's route... Donations are my speciality.

Hey, hey all you Tornado Alley dudes. I think it is great you all are getting together. Wish we could be there, but alas, we will be in Medora, ND, scoping out the Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the North Dakota Badlands. Enjoy!!

Sorry you won't be here Stiles and Dianna, after all this grew out of your suggestion. Right now we have 4 couples attending. Several locals have checked in with thier regrets due to prior commitments and travel plans.

Even though we only had 3.5 couples it was a great mini meet. Thanks to GGRanch for putting it together and to Ozz for arranging the free lunch.

I thought we agreed it was 3.25 couples. It was a great time. Good people and good food makes for memorable times. Ozz was just as we had imagined and was Steve and Vicki. Karen and I both feel that our path has crossed with Jim C. and Linda before. We can not think where but believe it was in a campground in this area, possibly Berry Bend, loop "C" on Truman Lake. Mabe next year sometime we can get the "National Commitee" together.
Karen and I bothj enjoyed our visit and look forward to seeing everyone again. Thanks again to OZZ for the meal!

It was great, Sue sends her regrets, she was in Platte City on Jury Duty, they canceled the trial of a Rapist and child molester, the loser plead guilty. Sue would have fried him, so wise decesion....
I enjoyed the meet, as usual, super nice people, I needed a MOC fix, haven't been on the road for a while.
Steve and Vicki were a welcome sight, I think they were the first MOC members we met years ago, I always like Vicki's hugs. I think Jim and Linda would be a hoot in Vegas, I think we could get in some trouble with them, (the good kind) maybe we should arrange a Vegas rally...., and thanks to Bob and Karen for thinking of the meet. I would like to spend more time with Bob, I think we would be pals.
Take care, guys and gals. You are welcome for the eats.
