Sad day at our house

A very special small black cat named Velvet was put down this AM. She had been our friend for over 20 years. It is amasing how those little critters can work their way into your heart. We have known for sometime that she was very ill with kidney failure. We will miss her a lot.

The nicest thing about rv'ing is meeting all the new friends. The worst part is knowing that they are hurting. We are hurting for you Toni and Dick.

So sorry to hear about one of our camping friends; we'll miss her, too. She'll be riding with you on all your trips, though.

We lost our "baby" last summer from kidney failure. She was a part of our family for over 22 years. It is amazing how attached we get to them. We share your pain.

Sorry for your loss. They are part of the family. We love out cats dearly, I have my 'lap cat' Sue has hers, and our Black and White Sparky never lets us out of his sight. You will never forget Velvet, but the pain will lessen as time goes by. We still think of our past buddies, remembering the joy that they brought us.
I know you gave Velvet a good life. That was your gift to your pal.
Ozz

Edited my spelling, sorry.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hopefully, knowing that many share your pain, will in some way help to ease it. Allow your memories to shine through, and maybe thats what will enable you to sometimes smile. Our thoughts are with you...

Thank you for all for notes. The thing that made this one hard was that there was no cat left to be with us. Over the last 30 years many cats have come and gone. All but two were strays that decided to stay with us. Velvet was one of those. The good news is we have decided to adopt a pair of siblings and start all over. The Monty may be in shambles.

See ya down the trail.

Dick, Toni, I feel your loss, for we also are cat lovers, have 3 that travels with us. We had two before these, and one was 14 , we had her at the vets for a whole yr but finally had to put her down, then 7 days later our 21 1/2 yr old had to be also. She grieved herself to death. So we went out an got two at Pet Smart, adoped a third later. Again Nancy an I feel your lost

So sorry your kitty went to the rainbow bridge.
This is very hard on pet owners when this happens.
My thoughts are with you.
