Colleen,

Some days the kids get their bathes in the kitchen sink. But, they also get in the tub. Easier in the tub, cause of the deeper sides and splashing is not a problem there! HAHA.

Their coats are long, but, I don't think they are particularly thick. I shave their bellies so we don't have to deal with all that tangled stuff down there.

Not sure bout the new units on a difference in the size of the tub vs shower, but in the older units, there was a difference, seems about 4 to 5 inches. My girlfriend that has the shower because of her MS has a spot beside the shower that is that 4 to 5 inches, she uses it for storage of broom, etc. If there was a tub there, she would not have that little broom corner.

If the neo-angle shower option truly leaves a 3-4" space between the glass enclosure and the wardrobe on the new 3400RL, It would leave room for the curtain install and storage of the curtain between the bedroom bathroom like the new 3475RL and 3295RK have. The 3400 seems to be the only new model that has the tub enclosure jammed up against the wardrobe, so the curtain is not installed, nor is there a reasonable way to install one.

On our 05 the curtain starts by the bathroom sink and stops at the edge of the amoire. This puts the curtain right next to the bed when fastened. It curves a bit.
Happy trails...........................

I believe it was Steve R's new 3400 that I noticed that he DOES have a curtain between the waredrobe and shower. Mine DOES NOT. His was made around the end of Aug, I believe. Mine came out of the factory July 17th. Somewhere in between there they changed their minds on whether to have the curtain or not in this model...

We have an 06 3670 with the neo angle shower. We love it. We do have a curtain and it is stored on the side of our shower. I am surprised to hear they no longer have the curtain. It is handy when we have company.

It was only the 3400 with a tub that didn't have the curtain. The rest of the models we saw still had a curtain. For some reason the 3400 bedroom is slightly different and there is no room.

Brad, how much room am I losing with my tub in the 3400? It looks like I still have room for that curtain that Keystone installs as OEM???

Dave,

I believe the tub enclosure measures 37" out from the corner both ways, and the neo angle shower measures 33". On the 3400 Model I looked at, the tub enclosure is less than an inch from the wardrobe. This is also apparant on the floorplans from keystone for the 3400 only. The other models with the tub (3475 and 3295) have a 3-4" gap between the tub enclosure and the wardrobe which is where the curtain stores when open. I can't explain why the 3400 bedroom is tighter than the other models, as they look exactly the same to me.

It is tighter because of the bedroom slide. Most floorplans have only the bed in the bedroom slide. The 3400RL has the bed and a wardrobe. It is a much larger slide then other floor plans. If the wardrobe was not there, the bed would have windows on both sides. And you would have all that empty space where the wardrobe is.

Montana Sky,

For 2007, the 3475RL, 3295RK and 3400RL have identical bedroom floor plans with the wide slide and wardrobe. It's just the 3400RL is 3-4" shorter in length for some reason.

I actually think they set the tub enclosure a few inches closer to the nose to allow for the pantry and kitchen slide on the 3400 which the other two don't have. The floorplans show the slide door hitting further up the steps on the 3400 than the other two models.

Has enyone mentioned that the neo-angle shower is perfect for two people yet??? Much larger than any cruise ship bath/shower I've seen except on the SS Norway which had a full sized bathtub in our suite.

Well I guess I am glad that my coach has the privacy curtain. It came mounted between the shower and the wardrobe, slides straight across and latches to the left of the watercloset door. Stores on the wall next to the wardrobe. Also works very well for blocking the morning sunlight coming through the sky light.

Dave,

I would love to have the curtain just to block the sun out in the morning. We don't have alot of company that stays with us, but it would be nice to have it if we did.

Has anyone tried putting up a cloth curtain for privacy?

At one of the rallies we visited with someone (CRS has me) that had added a folding curtain to their unit just like the one that came with ours. I would imagine you could get one from an RV supplier. It was mounted to the ceiling just like it comes from the factory. We've never used ours but I guess it is nice that it is there.
Happy trails..........................

That curtain does little to block the sunlight coming in from the shower skylight. Instead of a sharp, bright light we get a blurred, bright light

Colleen, We bought two aluminum foil buble wrap covers for our 14x14 vent and our 14x20 (or 24) shower skylight from our dealership. I'm know CW has them. They come precut and fit perfect with included velcro.

They do a great job of cutting almost 100% of the light and also insulate great against heat and cold.

The 06 3670 also has the wardwobe in the slide. But we still have plenty of room for the curtain.

I guess to block the sunlight - Carefree makes an inside shade that is opaque.
