We are around 2.50 here. When my wife orders red dye diesel for our POA it's about a 30 cent per gallon savings.

My brother still lives in PA. He said today your wonderful governor is talking about raising the gas tax again. I just fueled here in FL at $2.74 and heard at home in NC it is $2.69. PA always had potholes in the 55 years I lived there. My home in NC is valued 60% more than the one sold in PA and taxes are less than 50% of what I paid up there. No snow on the southern coast of NC which is another plus.

I guess it is a good thing I had to leave PA to get a job and support the family.

I had to stay until age 55 when I could retire. Been gone over 15 years. A great plus is no snow at home in southeast NC but we still winter in Florida.

We had to move to Ohio for employment in the Federal Government, FAA. We also winter in Florida.

We are not fans of California but our work took us there many times over the years. California is a beautiful State but far to expensive in most categories for us.

California is the 5th or 6th largest economy on the PLANET and the population is still growing. We always found the people pleasant and enjoyed our stays there but were always glad to be out of there .Far to many people, expensive and the traffic is terrifying.

Politics does not enter into my equation of my like or dislike of people, places or things

We are glad we Domicile in Ohio.

The Flying J in Saskatoon, Sk. Canada is usually the most expensive for diesel around here. Today the price is $1.23 per liter or $4.66 per US gallon. You are getting a bargain. Costco is the cheapest at $1.09 per liter or $4.13 per US gallon.

Everything is higher in Canada as it should be with the tax structure there. Still should be 25% less in both countries.

We are not that far from Canada and have been there many times.Fuel has always been more in Canada due to the tax structure and the exchange rate of the Canada /US $$$

If you are retired you can choose your Domicile State. There are many States that are very expensive. Check the license fees for Motor Vehicles and RV's. Texas and South Dakota are friendly to full timers looking for a domicile. Florida is also not bad at all.Sorry Captn John the Carolina's are still to cold for us. Central Florida south is just about right,SW is wind and dust. Thing is you have a choice so do what suites you.

This discussion has strayed way away from the original topic. Numerous political and off topic posts have been deleted. This is a RV forum and we encourage RV related discussions. Please try to remember that in the future.
