I was in my 9th grade History class.

I was a Detroit police officer in training to be a motorcycle traffic officer. I remember like it was yesturday--so sad.
It is hard to believe no one has been caught and prosecuted yet......

I was in 6th grade at recess when we got the news, very disturbing even for an elementary child.

At age 12 I was playing basketball at school when the news came over the loud speaker that the Kennedy has been shot...Very sad day..

I wasn't even thought of or you could say I was -3.

I have seen so much and read so much that I feel that it was in my lifetime too..

I was in 11th grade typing class. I remember how quiet it got in class when the announcement came over the PA. It remained very quiet the rest of the day.

I was in the Army and packing my rucksack before the newcast was completed. Adrenaline high was off the charts.

I was a junior in HS heading out the door to go to lunch when I heard. I ran all the way home (3 blocks)and rushed in to turn on the TV. My folks had not heard about it until I got home. I will never forget the look on my dad's face. That sticks with me as much as the original news.

I was a sophmore and just ready to start classes after lunch. When I heard it it seemed like it couldn't be true, but knew it was. our teacher was listening to his portable radio and kept us updated.
