Bed covers (truck)

I see in the archives that there was some discussion on bed covers (while we were away, and out of touch with this forum). I have been looking on the internet, and like the sound of the Retrax, which seems to be the same conclusion that this forum reached. Has anybody actually had first hand experience with them? Do they take up much room in the back of the truck? I suspect they are quite expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
