Roof vent for Fantastic Fan

Ordering a Mountaineer and it has a Fantastic Fan with rain sensor in Kitchen as standard. We are going to add a Fantastic Fan in the bathroom with the temp sensor and told the dealer we wanted roof vent covers on both of them so we could run them if it's raining. Dealer said the vent covers would cause problems with airflow and prevent the temp sensor from working properly.
In our current trailer we have a Fantastic fan with temp sensor and vent cover and everything seemed to work fine. I do recall that the dealer at that time mentioned that he had to put a larger cover on to allow for the larger air volume.
I notice on the Fantastic Fan website they have an Ultra Breeze vent cover designed to work with their fans. Got to think that this would work for what I want.
Comments from anyone with a similar setup would be appreciated.

I had CW install a Fantastic Fan branded Vent Cover over my Fantastic Fan which was factory installed. So I imagine it will work just fine except that it can't get rain past the vent cover to activate the ran sensor. Not a problem.

I've seen these and would imagine that if Fantastic Fan offered a vent cover as a solution then anything else might not work. For rain sensing, having the vent cover negates the need for the fan to close and it shouldn't unless the rain is coming down so hard it enters the cover, but the rain sensor should then shut off the fan. The advantage being that you'll still get Fan flow even when it's raining - that can't be bad. For the temp sensor a cover might change the temperature that causes the fan sensor to operate and so it might run more when it's hot, but that doesn't sound so bad either. The biggest concern would be air flow but I'd guess Fantastic Fan's cover solution should solve that.

WHEN you do this let us know how it works out.

We have 3 F-fans in ours, all with F-fan covers. Fantastic Fan brand, not some other brand. The lids cannot open completely in other brands. It's good to be able to operate fan on Rainey days. Ours work very well.

We have the F-Fan branded cover works just fine. I wasn't comfortable with the rain sensor plus i like the added protection from the wind which ripped one of my covers off and let rain in when we weren't there.

We put covers on ours before FF offered one. As stated ours can't open completely but they still function perfectly. Now that an FF cover is available, I would go with that.

We have three Fantastic Fans and have all three covered with the Ultra Breeze covers. We have not had any experience with restricted air flow. The Ultra breeze covers have a slight bubble to allow the fan cover to open fully.

We have two of the Ultra Breeze Covers and they work great. In addition you attain double protection from the sun's rays.

I just purchased two Fantastic Fan Ultra Breeze vent covers, and the added option of the bug screen from CW. They're not cheap, but did it because they allow the cover to open all the way. I'll defer on how well they work to the others above that have already commented and currently have them installed. I added the bug screen so nothing would come into the vent cover and build a nest.

Must say, having only recently joined MOC, I'm impressed with the prompt, informed and positive tone of the responses. So many other forums seem to be populated with ranting idiots with an axe to grind.
Thanks for all the responses.

I've installed the LARGE Max air covers over our Fantastics. We may have lost some air flow but overall the
operation is improved. The fan covers no longer stick to the seal, even in strong winds we can have the fans open, don't worry about rain and in the off season I can leave ALL the roof vents open for ventilation.

The other two vents are covered with the small Max covers.
