Both AC at same time

Hello,
We have a thermostat in the front and in the living area on our 2019 20th anniversary addition 3721rl

I want the rear to run with the front one or just the rear.

It gets way to hot in the living area
i have a messed up way to get it to work
the front one will be running and i go to the rear thermostat turn on the (heat pump) ir the furnace let it run for 10 seconds then turn it to cool and they will both run all day keeping it nice inside.

There has to be a way to be in-control of this system!

What am i missing, i just want them both to run!

I hope I understood what you are trying to do. Do you have both fans set to high? That will move the air around. I would then set the rear one lower than the front and put a small fan in the front to move air from the front toward the rear. We had the opposite problem, but that's what we did until we got the third AC installed.

Odd. Ours will both run at the same time anytime. Doesn't matter what fan setting and can both be set to same temperature and we can run either by itself if wanted that way.

If your question is how can you set it up so both can be controlled by a single thermostat, they can't as they are separate systems. Each must be set up independently.

I’m a confusing person
Ok
What I want to do is walk in a hot camper walk up to one Thermostat turn it on and have it start

Then walk to the other thermostat Turn it on and have it blow Also

To cool it down ,

No matter what I set the living area too it won’t start unless I start the heat then back to cool then it will run all day if I set it to 55

This is absolutely correct. The 2 units aren't connected in ANY way other than the duct work.

There is no reason you should need to run the heat before the air conditioning, I have not seen that issue before and can't recommend a simple fix.

The dometic thermostats are very sensitive, we set the heat at 60 degrees and the a/c at 70 degrees and have less issues when running the a/c . Sometimes we have to let the fan run first and then switch it to auto a/c, running both at the same time.

You saved me
It was my fault I had the heat set at 85 because the dealer during the walk threw wanted to show me the heat pump on the back unit
So it was confused ( do I want it at 89 or 55 because it can do both

The front unit only can cool so it would always cool

Thanks you!!!

We set both thermostats at 60 degrees for heat, and both at 70 degrees for a/c, and run both at the same time for a/c, today was 104 degrees outside and 77 degrees inside, that's a 27 degree difference in ambient temperature, we are happy campers with those results, although we start cooling early in the morning to get those kind of results and run the ceiling fan on high.

I keep the heat pump and furnace set low in the summer and the AC set high in the winter to avoid having a brush by turn on.

I can run both of mine at the same time with no issues, I can run just the living room one or just the bedroom one. I have the rear ac set lower then the bedroom ac. I have both set to auto and they ran all weekend with no issues

We're in Florida and it was a hot summer. My DH realized that when the bedroom AC was on, the AC in the living room area blew twice as hard. So I started turning the bedroom AC to high fan and 70 degrees, then the living area to high fan and 70. It makes the coach freezing! We were running around 76 in the heat of the afternoon before, now it's keeping it at 70. I put everything on auto in the afternoons and it continues to keep it 70 at all times. Sometimes it gets so cold we have to set it to 75 to warm up. Either way, running them both on high fan AC really works!

Our 2019 3121 AC units can be set independently.
