Furnace tries cycling on after storm

We had a storm last night and after it was done we heard a strange noise coming from our 2016 Montana 3160RL. We traced it to the furnace. It sounded like the fan was trying to cycle on and off over and over. This was with the furnace turned off. I tried turning it on so it could cycle normally and it still kept doing it. I finally pulled the fuse and we left it out all night. This morning I put the fuse back in and the fan came on constant without cycling. But again the furnace wasn't even on. I tried again to turn it on and let it get going the turned the furnace back off but the fan keeps running. I pulled the fuse again to make it stop. Has anyone experienced something like this. I appreciate any feedback.

We had a similar problem maybe five years ago, only with the A/C after a severe storm. The front unit would not work, although, the rear (main) unit was fine. I finally discovered quite a bit of corrosion on the circuit board in the control box below the A/C. I ordered a new box and that solved the problem. In the photo, you can see all the green corrosion on the phone connectors as well as a lot of corrosion on the board itself. I would check the box at your main A/C (if you have two units), as this is where the furnace controls go to that links up with your thermostat.

Thanks for the reply. After I let the unit run through a complete cycle it is working like normal. It looks like it just needed reset.
