Water leak kind of UPDATE

Under my bathroom sink is a Valve??? Looks like a check valve or air valve. This past week while flushing my black tank I hear a pop. I looked in my basement and saw water dripping from the bathroom water line hole. It came from that valve thing. How is that tied into my fresh water system? Today again same thing but I tried something. I turned the water at the post on slow and it leaked, turned on full and stopped leaking?????????? this is water going to black tank wash.

This year in Pa. we have had a bumper crop of stink bugs. So I was kind of glad to see a stink bug inside my anti siphon valve making it leak. the bug was stopping it from closing all the way. took me about 20 min. to get it out. all is well.

That is the anti-siphon valve for the black flush system. It prevents black water from going back to the source. It is a weak link and is know to fail.
