Recommend a Tire Guage
I found out that the tire guage I've been trusting for many years is probably bad. It reads 80PSI and every other guage I've tested it against reads 90+.
I want a guage that is dead on accurate. If you have experience in this area and have a favorite guage, the one you trust the most, I want to hear about it.
I prefer mechanical, but if it takes AA or AAA batteries I could learn to live with it.
Thanks
Russ

Russ, I really like my analog round Cambell Hausfeld (I think that is it, memory not what it used to be..) Got it at Home Despot, will try and find a picture of it. Very nice, has a button to release pressure if needed. No Batt's..

find a guage that reads low tire presure.like 5 psi these guages are the one that are very accurate because the can read low reading as well as high readings.

5 PSI? What the heck you got that only has 5 PSI in the tires? I've got the digital one like Dennis; been accurate for 4 years now.

I am not even going to mention nor recommend my $3.99 Harbor Freight special, oops.... guess I already did mention it, but I will not go so far as to recommend it, (after all it is made in China from left over Mission and Marathon Tire Steel Belts)! I don't know how accurate it is, don't know how sturdy it is, and don't know how long it will last, but it's cheap!!

We got ours (digital) from Sears...as I recall, it was about $15. It provides readings in .5 PSI increments...if these readings are true, that is accurate.

Go to a NAPA Parts store. Look at the Dual Chuck truckers tire gauge. I don't remember the mfg, but they are around $30, and accurate.
