opening apollo oven

Does anyone have the instructions on how to open the Apollo door when the latch breaks? I recall something about sliding a table knife in the door somewhere.

I had mine break and I had to dismantle the whole oven to get to the latch including special security screws on the sides.I bought the bits at sears.With the amount of these latches breaking you would think they would install a easy access door the the latch.Obviously there not going to change the quality of the latch.

They did cange the quality of the latch some time ago and would send you the upgraded latch if you contacted them.
