Help me understand this electrical problem that I fixed

The wife woke up and found the refrigerator beeping with error code "NO AC". I did realize that it was talking about 110/120 power. I looked at circuit breakers all OK, reset them anyway. Some 110/120 power is on, like the microwave, some had no power like the ceiling fan, the referigerator and lamps in the dining room slider. I was at a loss for ideas. As a last resort went outside and looked at the power pedestal. For years I have had a portable Progressive surge protector. This 50 amp model shows two sets of light one on each side, but this time on set was completely out. So I unplugged it and plugged it in on the the other site next to us and all lights came on. Went inside had AC power everyplace. What a relief. What did I just see?? Thanks

Lost service on one leg at pedestal. Report it to management.

X2. Resetting that park breaker might have restored power. Or could be bad breaker or wire connection. But should be checked out by park maintenance.

Don't use that old pedestal until someone who knows what they are doing takes it apart and finds the problem and fixes it.
