Harbor Freight 20% generators
Harbor Freight is having a 20% off sale on all their generators.
That brings their 5000 watt dual fuel and remote start inverter from $1100 to $880 and the 3500 watt from $800 to $640. If you have their credit card you will get an additional 10% off your first purchase.
Just in case someone is in the market for a generator.

I like my predator 5000 a lot. It runs my whole RV and is quiet enough. Remote start too!

I like mine. I have it mounted on the back of my motor home. It’s on springs to keep all the vibration out of my camper. The remote start is nice. I’ve had 3 Harbor Freight generators, a 2000 watt a 3500 and the 5000 watt. I still have all but the 3500 watt. They have all worked well.

no 3rd a/c..... Mini split
This is a good deal on that new 5000 watt, wish it had 220volt capablities I`d buy one The 7200-watt gen I have is just a tad too noisy but has the duel fuel auto change over. They all should have that.

As long as you dont have to move it in and out of a pickup truck the 5k is a good bet. And should be all you need for a 50amp RV. I have the 3500 Predator and it works great for us, and we easily get it in and out of the truck. Going on 2 years now just turned 40 hrs on it. We have solar so it is just a backup. Good sale!

We have a pair of 2000W Predator generators and the 30A parallel kit.
The first time we had to use them dry camping (after already doing the break in period) they would not run. The CO Detector kept tripping and shutting them off. I looked up a YouTube video showing how to bypass the CO Detector. I used jumpers versus cutting wires in the connectors.
Once bypassed the generators worked fine.

This is a problem with all new generators. I have a 5000 watt Predator. I couldn’t find a practical way to bypass the CO detector so I made an aluminum box to seal it from and outside air so CO wouldn’t get to the detector. If I have a problem with the generator I can easily remove the aluminum box so they can’t say I’ve modified the generator.

You probably will not be able to run that generator in the back of your truck. It has a CO detector and will not run in a confined area unless you disable the CO detector. It weighs 225 pounds makings it a lot more to unload than I’m capable of.
