Trim removal?

Ok, So I have discovered the slide issue with water soaking into the slide floor. I have a set of slide ski’s ordered but, first is to get things dried out. Does anyone know how to remove this trim so I can get the carpet out from behind it? Trying to not have to cut the carpet.
Also does anyone have experience in drying this wood out? Pretty sure it’s salvageable. Thinking parking it inside garage and using fans to dry it out. The last photo is how I discovered I had a problem.

Those vertical trim pieces on the slide are attached with brad nails. It isn't too hard to pop them off as I have done it by having things caught by the slide when it was going out.

As carl said!!! Keystone generally uses lots of brad nails and maybe not in the best places. Easy to pry off pull brads out from back side of trim. Don't try to drive them out towards the front of the trim or you could create lots of damage to the wood. John

Thanks!, I got it off today, luckily with out damaging it. Trying to dry wood now, hopping it will be salvageable. I can’t press a screwdriver into it but, it is soft in a place or two. Anyone have any opinions on that?

I used the google search at the top of this page to search “epoxy floor repair” and several threads come up. Search for the thread below and see if it might be a solution.

This is the link to Ellsworth's Thread on fixing his rotten floor using epoxy. Definitely an interesting solution.
