subscription topics
Before the system upgrade I would get notification on postings to topics I subscribed to. I have not received any posting notifications since the upgrade. Do I have to reset something?

C214dick,
I took a look at the Subscriptions and you are listed in several areas. Try to unsubscribe and then resubscribe on one or two topics and see if that works. We'll also notify ForumCo.
Thank you,

I unsubscribed from all topics as a number were pretty old but resubscribed to this one.. Maybe you could post a response and I'll see if I get notification.
Thanks

c214dick,
OK here is a reply to your post. Plus Sfish also has replied. If working you should have two emails! Let us know.

Thanks,
Dick it is really strange that some work and some don't. In my mind they all should work or all shouldn't. It doesn't make sense when you get these mixed results.
Thanks for your feed back and we'll try to run down the cause.

Thanks for checking. Am I to assume that I'm not the only one with this problem?

Dick,
I'm not sure if you're the only one but as you can see at least one person reports his is working. No one else has reported a problem to the Mods or Admins.
Thank you.

When I first came on board with this forum I also subscribed to several topics. It never seemed to work right--that is I never seemed to be notified of postings to the topics. Then SteveR mentioned that he just clicked on Active Topics whenever he would go on the forum. Right there were all the topics which he had not seen yet, plus those he had seen but had the latest postings. So now I do the same thing. I find absolutely no reason to subscribe to any topic since I can see at a glance which topics/changes that I need to look at. These are the ones that are active at the time.

That's what I do now Orv but there are some that I'm more interested than others so I will go to them direct rather than scanning the active topics list. It's not that big a deal but if the system allows for some to receive, why not all?

I have always used the Active Topics button to see what is new but given all the discussion, I subscribed to a Topic to see what all the fuss was. Sure enough, when someone posted, I got an e-mail. So it appears subscriptions work for me.

Thanks Dick,
Are you receiving your subscription notices now? Did you type the email into your MOC profile or did you copy and paste it into the email space?
Thanks,
RVWheels
