Quartzsite - One Lonely Wagonmaster?

It appears our esteemed wagonmaster really needs some company. It is very lonely out there on the edge of the circle. But if you visit, beware the scrub bushes on the route from the campfire to his door particularly when stumbling back in the dark.

That looks like the start of a great circle. We will be there Sunday to help fill it in.

Thanks Butch....

It is lonely, but we're going to cherish the time while we can...just look at that view! If North is 12:00 on the circle, we're at 3:00 (pointed east)....perfect for our solar panels.

Yesterday, the temperature was near 70, and we woke up this morning at 6:00 and it was 45...not bad for winter!

Did we mention that we desperately need firewood! If you have firewood, and can spare some room, PLEASE bring it! We have the means to cut it, split it, haul it, light it, poke it, and enjoy it!

The circle is marked off, and we are accepting first-come, first-served reservations! We offer valet parking...NOT!....but we will direct you into your pull-through site

If you need any kind of question answered, just PM me, and we will get back to you soon, and/or send you a cell phone number.

Please watch the topics, we're going to be adding a few new topics in the next few days, when we get the time....

This is shaping up the be the best rally ever, thanks to the assistant wagonmasters!!

Well like you Robbie having a site facing East or West would be nice for the solar panels. I'll be there on the 14th as planned. As for firewood Jeanne is planning on bringing some with her. I'll email her to bring a truck load if possible. Now I know the wagonmistress will keep you smiling till we all get there.

Robbie and Alice--Wish we could be there with you but we will wave as we fly over on our way to L A and our flight out to Downunder! Be sure to look up every so often and wave when a plane flies over-- it could be us on Friday evening!! We're taking our laptop with us and hopefully will be able to email some up-to-date messages to all our MOC family! Have fun gang and think of us over a cool one and around the bondfires!!

The White Sunshine is still here and not going anywhere! You didn't take enough of it back with you! Helmick needs some so why not bring the Monte out here and we can load up your whole coach! We have another Winter Storm Watch taking place starting tonight or early tomarrow morning and going on till Thursday! We're going to be lucky enough to get another 2" over night and another 4-6" on Wednesday with nothing said about early Thursday! Winds start up on Wednesday at 20-30mph and gusts up to 40! GOODIE!!! The temp as I sit here now is 1* and for some reason this stupid White Sunshine is not going anywhere! Maybe I can figure a way to get American Airlines to load a plane up and dump it over Q as they fly over!! Maybe Robbie could figure what to do with it! Rich-- You better look up a and wave before Saturday-- we're flying over to LA on Friday afternoon so come on out and wave then!! We get into LA at 9:15 PM. I'll see if I can get the pilot to tip the wings a couple of times for you!!

Ron, we are not leaving Petaluma until Saturday morning. So I will have to sit on the roof Friday Night with my binoculars and watch for you. As for the White Sunshine, you can keep it or send it over to my kids place on the other side of the river and I will pick it up next time that we are in town. Have fun on your trip down under because I know we are going to have fun in Q.

After checking out our Q-site circle, looks like the only site with water/electric hook-up has been taken by the Youngren's. Guess arriving early has its benefits

I thought we had a full hook-up site next to pool spoken for! Oh, well will settle for by the office (closer to let complaints known!) :-) There is cable right?

We are currently working our way there. On Hwy. 99 south of Fresno and on the move! Cold here and looking for sun!

Looking forward to meeting all..i.e. here on west coast!
