DW has a Question

When we were last in Harlingen DW tried to find Coffee Beans. she enjoys freshly ground coffee.....we could not find any actual beans.......is that something that only happens in Harlingen??? Is there somewhere down there that has coffee beans??

There are 3 Starbucks in Harlingen and they usually carry beans.

Most H.E.B stores carry beans.

Or you can order from Dunkin Donuts, 5 pounds at a time.

Sams Club also carries coffee beans.

Edited: p.s., do not freeze or refrigerate beans as it ruins the oils. (According to DW)

Don: There is a Sams Club in McAllen. Around Jackson Rd and Exp. 83. No problem with coffee at the border. Just no citrus.

Good.......I know a couple of folks that have Sam's memberships...I finally got on the US website and find that there is no problem with any of that....DW got a deal on Folgers at $4.49 a lb and bought 8 lbs..so we will take 4 or 5 and then she decided she wanted beans too....Ive got a headache!

Yes.......coffee is a big deal in this house...not only for us but when company comes the coffee goes on....we learned early when RVing that coffee mugs took a lot of room and care...so much so that now (much to the consternation of the DW)if more than 4 people show up we have to use styro/foam cups....
