Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, WA

Have stayed in this park the last three times we've ben in the Seattle area. Highly recommend it for the beauty and scenery. Most sites either back up to or overlook a 3-4 acre pond with evergreens in abundance and the friendliest people in the world around you. The location is at the extreme north end of Lake Washington just out of the town of Bothell. It is a little hard too find but well worth the effort. We think it's among the top 5 parks we've stayed at. I have reservations about even letting this info out, don't want it to get so popular that we can't get a res...
Also would like to say that we've learned more about the little things in RVing just by reading this forum than in nice years of hitting the road... thanks to steve & vicki, parrothead, etc. etc. for all your comments and the info you guys are so free to share... you are great!

Update on Lake Pleasant: stayed there 8/15/05 thru 8/22/05 and was shockingly disappointed on the condition. The restrooms were filthy, Sharon wouldn't even go in one, they were that bad, don't ask for description, just imagine old gas station restroom out on route 66 with one guy sitting in locked- in glass perch and giving out a key hooked to a plunger. Talked to some guy named "Mike", from Texas, who had taken over management about 6 mos before and told him of condition of rest rooms, he did NOTHING about it except give lip service. The first three years or so we saw maybe 10-15 retired couples kind of semi- retired and keeping up the park, they were great. They're down to one other couple and some clown that mows grass, etc., whenever it needs it, which is all the time. Lots of weeds around lakes, duck poop all over the place and just a general state of disrepair and in sorry need of maintenance. What's wrong with these people? Do they think that business will be there in spite of this condition and are just taking the money (25% increase since last year, no GS or ESC certification) and laughing all the way to the bank?
Anyone else have a story like this?
