No Valley this year

Wife and I will not be going to the RGV this year because of health issues with her parents and moving them to an assisted living center The park let us move this years deposit to next year so we will still have our same site. We will miss the warm weather, all of our winter friends and not seeing snow blowers and wood splitters in front of the Lowes stores. I will spend my time in the snow boredom fixing up the inside of stick house and working on the 5vr out in the pole building. I will put a plastic palm tree outside of the 5vr in the pole building and sit in my chair and pretend I am in the valley.

Thanks for the rub on the heat. I live just across the lake from Sarnia, in the thumb area of Michigan. I will keep the wood stove turned up and do my best to keep Canada warm. I just put the snow blade on the tractor and just in case have the bucket on standby. I just got an e-mail from friends who stay on Padre Island for November and thy said the parks on the Island are empty compared to other years at this time. They move over to Palmdale RV Park on Highway 100 in December.

Was on Saginaw Bay this last Saturday. Had walley for dinner Sunday. What can I say, Michigan is a beautiful state with lots of activities. But, and I mean but.......I am tired of the winters lol.

When you're at the Walmart in Fort Gratiot you're not that far from us.

Take care and enjoy Texas.

I see the weather in the valley has been the pits this year. I remember the same thing three years ago, rain, cold, and wind. I thought it would never end. I think it was like February before the good weather stayed. I would still take that over the MI winter.

We had to endure that too....went out for a visit and stayed over for a night at a freinds..came home the next day and the rainwaters were up over the tire and our trailer was surrounded..we needed a pair o hip waders to get in...I am not sure if being surrounded by snow is any worse than water...
