Quartzsite?

Planning my trip west and was looking for some info about Quartzsite az on I-10 as my last stop before going to Castaic Ca. When I use the search engine of Google I see about 10 of them in one small area. Any advise would be appreciated.

Garin, at this time of year the campgrounds are very empty. You won't even need a reservation. Most of the flea market is packed up and gone. I wouldn't say that one campground is better than the other. You might need to check to see which ones are open. It certainly won't be difficult to find a spot.

Garin,

Quartzsite is at the intersection of I 10, US 95, and AZ SR 95. As Judy said, it's a very small community this time of year, and you shouldn't have any problem finding a place to stay. If you like boondocking, consider staying out on Plomosa Road about 10 miles north of Quartzsite on BLM land, or on any of the other BLM land north or south of I 10. Do a google search on quartzsite and you'll find all sorts of interesting information.

Parker, which is north on 95, is about the cheapest diesel anywhere around.

Bob, there was a really bad accident at that intersection where you turn left into Parker. It involved a tanker truck. The roads were all blocked going into Parker last Thursday when we arrived. State workers were stationed as far south as I-10. I was hoping that gas station with the good diesel prices wasn't damaged. Just FYI.
