Slide out toppers

We have had allot of rain lately and have allot of water settling on top of the slide toppers. Is there a way to tighten the toppers ourselves or do we have to take the unit in for service?
Thank you in advance!

I don’t believe you can tighten them enough to keep the rain from pooling. I use a beach ball between the slide roof and the topper on both long slides. It provides a little peek so the water runs off better.

Those on my 2019 Montana are tight from the factory. On my neighbors 2018, not so much. CW installed on my last 2 5ers and were tight until sold. There is a way for 2 people to tighten I'm told.

It is best to have grandkid pull one end down to drain water off

On the bigger slides there is really nothing you can do other than the beach ball thing. If they are too tight there will be serious issues.
