None of the pipes will void the warranty as they do not require any tuning of the engine. It's just replacing a plastic pipe with a thick rubber one.

Tuneing your truck may or may not void your warranty. If you blow your engine up and Ford comes to check yes your warranty is gone. If they don’t check it’s up to your tech and the dealer. If they like you you are probably good to go. If they don’t like you watch out.

Tell ya what. Texas is flatland. We have a 7 percent grade for 6 miles. Dont use the trailer brakes, nor exhaust brake, just the truck's brakes. See how that works for ya. After the Trucks brakes start smoking, no amount of pressure will have any effect at all... NON...THE trucks brakes are meant to stop the truck. Not a trailer..period!. Trailer brakes are required for any trailer over 1,500 lbs..

You have the same year and model truck as I do and I too am concerned about voiding the warranty. I looked at H&S website and the Intercooler Pipe as a bunch of warnings - makes me nervous. Maybe when the warranty expires.

Look at the pipes for OEM replacement, ,"no tuning required". They will not void the warranty. Simple rubber pipe for a plastic pipe.

You are correct. The OEM replacement looks like the trick. Might be worth the money to make sure there are no problems. Thanks.

I never want to lean over and tell my wife we don’t have enough truck to stop our trailer as we are coming down a mountain! If that means I have to park that duallies wide butt 100 yards from the grocery store door so be it. I didn’t buy it for trips to the beauty parlor!

Congratulations!
Disc brakes on your trailer will resolve any stopping worries you have.

You won't see any issue...you will hear it first, then immediately feel it, then sit and wait

Mine too. Luckily when mine blew, I had already had a buddy blow his on an interstate in NY and he told me what had happened. So I went to the dealership and bought a spare one. I had it in the rig when the factory one let go. Took 10 minutes to replace it on the side of the interstate. But then got to thinking it would do it again, so searched for options. H&S is what I bought as I stated. ANY of them will stop the blowouts from happening and stranding you, which is exactly what it will do.
