Announcement 2

I believe my 3400 RL was born today also. It was scheduled to come off the line today, and will be in ICU for a coulple of days for PDI in Goshen. It will then start its trek across country to our Reno dealer.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town when it arrives. Going to the Houston International Quilt Festival, so have something to look forward to when I return.

What a shame to have waited 10 1/2 weeks, and not even be home to greet it. Hope it doesn't feel rejected.

Well congratulations. 10 1/2 weeks was a long term. How could you not be there. What kind of parent are you. Shame.

Sharon,
Happy Birthday to your Montana. Can't wait until you get in it so we can compare notes. Have fun at the quilt festival. My cedar chest is full of quilt tops my grandmother and great-grandmother made.

Parrothead: would love to see your quilt tops. They could be valuable.

OntMont: Congrats to you too. Couldn't believe we had fraternal twins. Let us know when yours arrives and then I'll know mine will be home very soon.

Glen and Lorraine: Houston was planned WAY before Monty. I really thought it would be home by the time I leave, but no it won't

DHenry; Thanks. looking forward to being official for the "rally" at Shasta.

So guess what I've been doing as a "lady-in-waiting" - making a quilt for my granddaughter. Would love to go to the show in Houston, but it is too far us just now. (Got to stay home with the baby for a while). We went to Paducah, KY to visit the Quilt Museum last spring. It was well worth the trip, and their are some great places to camp in Kentucky.

Enjoy the show, I'm sure the baby sitters will know what to do!
Donna.

Congrats on the 3400RL. Ours are probably cousins, then. Hope you enjoy ours as much as we have been enjoying ours. Unfortunately, for those of us not retired living in cold climes, it was time to winterize. Best of luck with your new unit.

We're heading for Houston next week, too. It's wonderful to have two passions in life....our Montana and quilting! Hope you have a great trip. Can't wait to see all those beautiful quilts. We love the quilt museum in Paducah, too. Well worth the trip.

My goodness....I had no idea how big and wonderful that show was. Came home exhausted, and now I hava a cold, but it was worth it. We're thinking of Paduca next.

We picked up our 3400 yesterday, and came home in a severe thunderstorm with heavy rain, snow and hail. It was still raining when we got home, so hopefully when we go out there this morning, we will find no leaks. It was raining too hard to even look inside last night.

The PDI went well, with only a few fit and finish items to be fixed.
No concrete plans for the shakedown trip, depends on how long it take to get all our stuff back in the unit.

Sharon and Bob, congrats! Great pictures on your site! We're planning to go to Glacier NP next summer. Is Tunnel Mountain CG in or near Glacier or is it up by Banff? Gorgeous park, from your pictures.

Thanks.

It's up by Banff. A REALLY nice park, particularly when it is not crowded. Probably nice when it is crowded, but as you could see in the pictures it wasn't when we were there.
