Electric Problem

Hi I've got a resident that wants to know if he connects a cord to his outside receptacle, will it provide enough power to his brother in laws trailer so he can watch tv and run a few lights. The resident is on two thirty amp breaker with an adapter that is supposed to give him 45 amps? thanks for the info.

He should be all right, as long as that is all he runs.

Just remember that's a GFI protected outlet.

Doesn't it also matter how much other demand the "resident" has on his supply?

When I start my electric hook up, my Surge protector says I use 10 Amp or so (converter) and then as the batteries charge up it slowly decreases to 3 or 4 after 10-15 minutes and takes an hour or 2 to trickle charge the rest. So when initially plugged in, it may overload the GFI.
