Outer Banks this year

Since we're here on the coast of NC after helping rebuild homes damaged by TS Irene with http://www.eightdaysofhope.com/, we are going to tour the Outer Banks. What a blessing to be able to travel this country from one side to the other in less than a year.
Looks like at least three lighthouses on our trip tomorrow.

While you are on the coast try Hunting Island State Park South Carolina. they have a verry nice beach about 2 miles that only people who are camping can use and the forest goes down to high tide. You camp in the forest, nice.

We were at Wavesthis last weekend...be glad you were not...high winds, thunderstorms , hot and humid...I did not realize the Monty could or would shake so much...to the point we closed all slides and hunkered down on the steps til it was over....and that was more than once....glad to be home or at least away from there...otherwise it was a nice place on a sandy strip of land....
