I saw this morning in a magazine that CW has a rebate of $20 per tire for the G614's. However, if I remember correctly, when I was shopping, CW's retail price per tire was considerably higher than from tire stores so that rebate wasn't enough to even bring their price down.

I don't see any mention of a rebate, now, on the G614, at the Goodyear site.

I have found that with the PC discount at CW you can get the price back down to about 35% higher than anywhere else. On some products they are not to bad but they will get you somewhere else. I try not to buy anything but things hard to find elsewhere. JMHO

When I bought our 614's at Sam's, they also said they did not carry the tire locally. I e-mailed Corporate (from their web site), told them what I was told and was given the order number for the 614's. Called the local store, gave them the number, and presto, they had the tires there in a couple of days. Seems like I paid around $237 a tire last fall. Worth a try anyway.
