Sorry Dennis! I guess we can't all be perfect! I can feel your sadness since the Cornhuskers also lost but we will both still survive
and the teams will rise again!!

Sorry, but I have no sympathy for you. After all, we have to live with the Detroit Lions. I know, you weren't talking about pro ball, but the Lions are so terrible, they taint everything else!

I'm sharing your sorrow Dennis.. And on top of the Gators losing, the Vikings lost on Sunday.

I'm sure hoping that Tebow gets the Heisman though.. He is awesome.

I am indeed a longtime Gator fan and proud of it ya'll. I must say though that Alabama outplayed and outcoached the Gators in the SEC playoff game last Saturday. No doubt in my mind. I also called Darrell Turner at Keystone and congratulated him on Crimson Tide's SEC conference win. They truly deserve it. I also told Darrell that Alabama would definetly beat Texas in the BCS Title game. The SEC conference is a great conference. Florida Gators were outgunned and that's a fact.

That's too bad Dennis, sorry to hear about it. What amazes me is that their backfield even got off work from McDonalds and Lowes...

I don't know if the Gators were outgunned or not, but they sure didn't show for that game! Tebow is the best, a terrific person and player. Off day on that game.

Chris-- You forgot the salt in the beer and the wounds! OUCH!! Sorry Dennis! Since Mary is from Alabama and I have to put up with her and her sisters here, it's hard to not cheer for any team opposing the Tide just to rub it in a little with them. I still think the Big 12 playoff was the best game last weekend even though I didn't like the outcome! Couldn't count the Huskers out of it all the way through the game and it was a real desperate throw (playbacks didn't show a true reciever in the area but no flag on grounding)(just a little prejudice comment there ) that saved the Horns for the win! Don't know where that last second came from but that's all they needed! I'm still counting Suh in contention for the Heisman even though he is a defensive lineman. I think he's gone this entire week going to different award ceremonies to recieve top positions. He truly is a very humble player and one really nice guy. I've met him and talked to him and is just super! I'll be waiting for comments on that statement! LOL

If the Longhorns don't play better than they did against Nebraska, there is no need for them to even show up. And clock management! Only 2 plays in the last minute and a half and almost let the clock expire needing a field goal to win? Terrible, terrible, terrible!
But I was highly impressed by Suh for Nebraska. Never seen such a dominating force on defense.

You're right Bill-- if the Horns play like they did against the Huskers they won't have a chance against the Tide! They are a good team but you'll have to admit that the Huskers did a pretty good job on that field that day! You're right about Suh also! He is awesome! I can't believe how quick and fast in speed he is for his size! I'm 6'1" and weigh in at about 220 and he makes me look like a midget. The guy is massive but the nices guy you can imagine and very smart, not like some of the linemen I've known on several teams I've met(talk about dummer that a post). LOL

Did someone say Go Noles? I think they left the building a long time ago!! Yes, our Gators were out in left field somewhere, but that's SEC football. The Tide was there last year, and someone else will be there next. Any given Saturday in the SEC, you know the rest. As great as Tebow is, I doubt he'll get the Heisman this time, mostly because of last week. But I'm telling you, whjoever in the NFL picks him up will be my new favorite team!
