Hello from Ohio

Julie and I have just purchased a Ford F-250 Super Duty Super Cab on February 28th, 2006 and then that following Saturday ordered a new 3400 RL. The truck promised in 60 to 90 days came in in just 21 days. The trailer, however, is still projected to come off of the line on April 5th. We can hardly wait. Looking forward to years of fun. I just retired and Julie has 14 more months to go. Then we go!

Jim & Julie,
Welcome to the MOC forum. We have a daughter living in Pataskala, OH (just outside of Columbus). You are getting ready to embark on the best adventure of your life. We have been retired going on two years and are enjoying every minute of it. Staying too busy to miss any of those "working" days. We spend about 8 months a year in our Montana and the summer months at our vacation home in the WV mountains. Will be looking forward to sharing your adventures. May you enjoy many happy and safe miles in your new wheel estate.

Jim, we are glad to have you as a new member of the Montana owners club. You will find a lot of great info here starting with the upcoming regional rally being held at Tomorrow Stars CG in Springfield. We will be glad to meet you and other members of our forum and have a great time! Mark your calendar for Aug 24,25,26 and 27th for all or any of these days you can make it there. The 3400 would have been our choice if it had come out a couple months sooner. It came out right after we piched our 3280 up, neat unit for sure!

Jim and Julie, welcome to the forum. We too have an F-250 Super Cab and absolutely love it. The 3400 appears to be one of the most popular models right now. I know you will enjoy both.

We have had our trailer since 2003. This is our 7th camper since we started camping in the late 70's. Our present camper is by far the best and I think we have found a home with Montana. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

I have a 2004 3400RL but have not towed with my Ford F250 V10 Super Cab with short bed. I'm still undecided If I will need the slider hitch. My Montana salesman does not think the slider is necessary and I would be spending extra money. I still have to make the decision about the slider.
