Happy to be here

My wife and I just purchased our Montana today after looking for several months. We bought a 2955 and can't wait for delivery (there was one on the lot but we decided it was worth the wait to get the colors we liked, desert sunset, I think.) We're not full time yet, in fact that's one of the reason we purchased this now so we are ready to go when the time comes. Were from Colorado so we have plenty of nice places locally to go but enjoy traveling everywhere. I heard this is a great group of people with a lot of information shared, we may need some since this is our first Montana.

Glad to be here!

We are pretty new to this also, but excited to be able to get questions answered and find solutions to problems we might have. We purchased a used 200l 3480 2 years ago, and now have purchased a new 3400 so we can get really serious. We winter in Florida and have home base in NW Iowa, just retired from farming this year.

Another happy owner of the 2955 wishes to say "Welcome, neighbor!" Our daughter lives in Colorado: Buena Vista in the Arkansas Valley nested under the Collegiate Peaks. We visit Colorado several times a year and have been enjoying "cool, colorful Colorado" throughout our married life. We think you have made a good decision about the Montana and about the 2955 model. Ours is now over three years old and we have just returned from a trip to North Carolina/Tennessee. We have over 37,000 miles on the Montana.

My wife and I just purchased our Montana last weekend after looking for several months. We bought a 2955RL and can't wait to take it on a run.
Had to return to dealer, rear axel brake wire shorted so the unit spent the week at dealer waiting for repair.
We're looking forward to meeting other Monty owner on the road and also having a great time reading the posting on the boards.

fredb54,
Welcome and congratulations. This is a great place to learn all about your rig and to meet some really nice folks.

Why don't you come join a group of fellow Montana Owners at our upcoming Reno Rally? The event is being held just south of Reno near Minden, NV between Oct. 5 and 11. You are welcome to come to any and all of the Rally. Just let us know if you're coming so we can save a spot for you.

You are not far from us. Welcome. As Dennis said, if you can come to the rally in Reno. Also last May (Memorial Day weekend) we had our first Western Region rally at Mt. Shasta. We had such a great time, we decided to do it again. There are still spots available so plan to join us if you can.
Happy trails.......................
