Anyone know where it actually took place. Kind of reminded me of the Needles Scenic Highway near Mt Rushmore.

It's a wonder some of those helping didn't get hurt.

That is for sure, they were pretty casual about the tow cables. Ugly if one snaps. Have seen the video several times, a reminder to stay smart and alert when towing.

It is Needles and one of its many switchbacks....Great riding between Iron Mountain Road and Needles..... probably going to ride that again tomorrow or Monday before it gets to Crazy with Sturgis coming up in 3 weeks.

Thanks Les, it has been nine or ten years since I took the family through there. It looked familiar. Beautiful drive, but I know I left my fifth wheel at the RV park and just drove the pickup. Unfortunate that the Montana owner went that route towing his unit. The back way (original road) into Mt Rushmore is also a neat drive without the fifthwheel.

Ive been on that road and there are signs telling that trailers are not recommended on that road, he seems to be a driver that does not read or follow directions. I went through with my duelie I had to fold my mirrors in and he put a trailer on that road. not to smart.

You will see big 45' Prevost tour buses up there on Needles and Iron Mtn Road and it is usually a show stopper but they do it a lot and know how to drive it.....
Old Hill City Road from Hill City to Keystone is a great ride as is Rt. 385 thru Spearfish Canyon.....
