Gotta Toot my Horn
I usually don't worry about Tootin my own Horn, but this time I just gotta let this out.Was ready to post this morning, then had company to take us out for breakfast. It is a day of Celebration here. I got a call late yesterday afternoon from the President of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame. I am now the newest Member of the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame, voted on and confirmed yesterday at the annual board meeting. This is quite an honor, now being in the Oklahoma Country Music Hall of Fame and also the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame, especially since I am from Michigan, but played most of my years on the road out of Michigan, and booking out of Okie City. A big thanks to all the board members, who incidently gave me a 100% yes vote. Okay, back to work here, got two gigs today. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

Congratulations. As a wannabe maker of music, I applaud your achievement. I recently started pickin' and strummin' on a mountain dulcimer and have so much respect for your accomplishments.

That is great. We have a Dulcimer Club in the area, and at this point I think they are going to do a Dulcimer demonstration at the Great lakes Rally in August. keep on trying and picking, the rewards are endless. happy trails, Steve and Susie
