Need help moving our Rig from Parker to Yuma
Hi all,
Well, we were hoping to be home today, but.......... Our Truck has had other thoughts! We literally crawled the 16+ miles to Parker, AZ. We found an RV park to stay in for the night, but Mel beleives we are having injector problems again, and we won't be able to make it back home without fixing the truck. We have already changed out the fuel filter so we know that is not it, so................
Any one in the Area? Who might be willing to help us get home? About 130 miles to Yuma. There is a Garage we can take the truck to here in Parker, but who knows how long it will be before it is fixed.

Wish we were in the area. This sounds like a yucky situation. Hope someone comes along soon. Take care...

Well Bob,
lets see...injectors replaced in 2007, Flat tire on way to Q in 2009, Air conditioner went out at the Q in 2010, and nsow the injector pump this year.....ya, I think we are jinxed, LOL. But...it always works out.
Thanks everyone for your concerns.

Looks like the problem is the Fuel injector pump. We have to wait until tomorrow for the parts to get here. Hopefully we will be back on the road tomorrow afternoon, evening. Cross our fingers.
We did find someone who could come and get us if needed, but we think we will wait till tomorrow, before we decide on that.
Thank you everyone for your calls and concerns.
Joy & Mel

Hey Mel, aren't the older Chevy's just great . I also had new injectors installed in December of 07 and again after the Spring Rally this year. This will be my last GM product.

Well, if you could wait a few weeks we would be right there and would be happy to pull your rig home.
