Hard uphill, but a easy return
Sue and I rode today, this town is amazing! We did a gradual uphill for 4 miles or so, then ran out of town, so we rode back on trails, all downhill, just beautiful. You folks need to put a visit to Bozeman on your 'To-do-list'

You really got to try out that "Route of the Hiawatha". Do the downhill (whole lot of miles with pretty much 2% to 3% downhill with lots of tunnels and trellis bridges). The skip the return (up hill) trip and arrange for the shuttle or the friend or the wife to pick you up from the end point. If you're real bold, go uphill then come back all downhill, but it's a lot of miles for one day but you sure sound more in shape than me.
I so want to do this but I have no idea when I'll get back up there. I had heard about it, then read about it, then even visited it to find out what it was about. I was so bummed I didn't believe much about it and kicked myself that I did not bring my bicycle.
I'd sure like to know someone who has done it! It is at the Idaho/Montana border - starts 5 miles east of the border then proceeds southwest into Idaho. I'll leave at that unless you'd like more information.

Four miles uphill and I would run out of more than "town."

You would do fine Pat, it was a gradual uphill.
We were laughing so hard, that dog was a happy pup.
