Permanent Home Base Relo to CO
We have been among the missing for several months since the purchase of our 2007 3400RL--though we have managed to check in for a quick read now and then to make sure you were all okay. In that time we have sold the big house in NY, packed up all the gear, made several trips to CO to house hunt, bought a smaller home in CO and hauled two cats and a dog in the Monty to CO for our permanent home base. We are finally here for good--except of course when we are out on the road with the Montana. Two of the three kids and five of the seven grandkids are within half an hour drive. We are ready for some serious R & R! But we would like to say that we are only half a mile off E-470 so any MOCer's going through Denver by that route be sure to give us a heads up by email. Great to be back!!!

Congratulations of the sale of your house, the move to the new house and being closer to the kids and grand kids. We'd love to go to Colorado so if we get to we'll be e-mailing you for sure.

Welcome to Colorful Colorado Bill and Pat! Stay off that E-470 with your Monty - it will cost you a fortune in Tolls (hahhaha). Just spent $90 going from Littleton to highway 76 and back with the Monty and boat being towed by another vehicle! 
Sitting in Santa Fe at a dreary campsite right now, but hoping to head home to Lone Tree tomorrow.

The toll road is a wallet flattener for sure--but darn nice to drive as it does cut out a ton of hassle. That was a lot of axles to pay for Brad--hope the skiing and/or fishing was great! Hope you will email us Patty when you get out here!

Darn Bill, we just pasted through Denver the other day and are now in Wyoming headed for Ogden Utah this AM and eventually to Oregon. Wish I'd have known you were in Denver but I guess it wouldn't have mattered a whole lot as we had a couple set backs so wouldn't have had time to stop anyway. BUT as I told the owner at our campground in Drake, CO "we will retutrn". Not next year but possibly the year after.
Guess this means you won't be attending anymore rallys in NY?
Have a great life in Denver area. Them Rocky Mountains are to die for.

Glenn--Well darnation I can't believe we missed you! Thanks for the good wishes. Never know where we will show up for a rally so don't discount those anywhere in the East--now that we're officially retired our time is ours. You should enjoy that drive to UT. We did it three years ago--great. Us Wyomissing boys gotta stay in touch. Hi to Lorraine.

Congratulations on your move and new house. Welcome to Colorado!
We live about 10 miles from E-470. 
Yes we have pulled our Monty on 470 taking it to Longmont for 2nd AC install. Don doesn't like to pay the price but likes the road.
Are only 10 miles from the Southland shopping center.
The new one near E-470.
Will have to get together for lunch sometime. We are retired too.

Retired after 30 years in Colorado. What do I miss: traffic,drive down I-25 to Denver and beyond, drive to the tunnel, state income tax, high license fees, SMOG checks, drive up Poudre Canyon, high fuel prices, just to name a few. I know there are the Mountains. But there is a lot of the US of A that have things to see too. JMHO

Hi,I'am the guy with the 3400 that was next to you in muskegon,when you picked up your new 3400 up last spring.I was wondering after all that testing,how your rig has held up? Sure injoyed visting with you guys,have fun with the grand kids,we sure injoy ours.

Muskegon was certainly memorable--and it was great to meet you both! Thanks for asking how the rig is doing--quite well, except for damages due to a terrible windsorm we encountered in NE--see topic "Gone With the Wind." We are loving the 3400RL--just haven't been able to spend as much time in it as we want. Isn't that everyone's complaint? Happy camping to both of you!!!
