Where is Here?

A gentle suggestion: it would be helpful for us who are 'occasional' visitors to the forum to know where "here" is, as in "It is freezing here!" If there is no indication of place in your signature line it would be easy to add a couple of words to the post to indicate location. [It is cold here in East Texas!]

That is a great suggestion. I always want to know where "here" is! I always refer to what is in the profile. But not always the case if they are traveling or fulltimers. So that would be nice.

Good idea padre, I do what Kathi does, look at the profile, or sometimes the weather gizmo if there is one.

HERE in Phoenix, it was close to 70' during the afternoon. THERE in Benson, AZ where we started the day, it had been 23'. We like Phoenix better! At least the temperatures!

Great post, David.

Good Morning to all, here in Casa Grande Arizona it was 35 degrees at 7:00 am. Looks like it will be cloudy today, but yesterday was close to 70. Glenn and Judy pass us up, we met those great people and were invited to their Montana for a visit while we were in Benson (THANKS). We are about 45 miles from Phoenix. But will be in Mesa Friday at 8:00 am to get our W/D installed. Stay warm....GBY...

Here is Tybee Island, Savannah, GA, for us. 76 when we arrived on Monday. 46 yesterday, 49 today. 61 tomorrow, then 60's and low 70's again.

Here in Bastrop we got above freezing today. The sun peeked out for 2 seconds. The weatherman says no sun for another week, just rain showers. We are ordering sun lamps for SAD and we might as well be back in the Seattle area!!!! At least it is above freezing. I feel for those folks in Oklahoma who have been without power for a week and more freezing rain is expected up there.

Champions Gate (5 miles S of Disney). 70's now and for the next week.

Not so good for our kids/grandkids...

A lake effect snow warning remains in effect until 7 am EST
Saturday.

Lake effect snow will develop in the favored northwest flow
snowbelts of northern lower Michigan overnight... and continue
into Saturday morning. Locally heavy snow is expected... with
total accumulations of 5 to 10 inches by Saturday morning and
locally higher amounts possible.
