A Mouse's Tale - True Story

There we were at 10 o'clock at night: sitting snug and warm in our recliners watching some very important educational program on TV (ha) when out of the blue a racket like you never heard - louder than Santa dropping down the chimney - started. We both jumped up and realized it was the furnace making the noise. It almost scared us to death. We quickly shut off the furnace and pulled the fuse because the racket continued. Since it was late we went to bed under our warm comforter and waited until morning to investigate. Next morning Bob pulled the furnace out of its hiding hole and lo and behold in the fan was a poor little mouse. The little guy walked through just as the fan started up and it really whacked him. We were grateful it was not the furnace blowing up, but felt bad for the little mickey. The end.

oh, dear,

well, you guys, look for his kids or mates or friends. in our limited and not so pleasant experience, they don't come alone!

they sure know how to get into all kinds of situations tho, don't they??

The end is right - eeeew! Guess thats better than electrocuted and burnt! Maybe you should put some cheese at the other end of the fan and get the rest of them!

I like Brad's idea, but it may be a little rough on the fan. Mice in the Montana would be like finding a cockroach part in your soup, YUUKKK!

Ah, come on now you'all -- the little guy's spouse probably just thought he was getting a little chunky and sent him out to workout on the 'treadmill'.

hahaha - Bob and Pam,

If you hear the fan running and the furnace switch is off, that's just the spouse getting a workout running inside your fan!
