All in the family...

My dad and mom drove in from Colorado and closed the deal on a real nice 2005 2950 I found them here in Las Vegas. The same day I took my aunt and uncle by a Montana dealership and they are now trying to close a deal on a new Mountaineer...I wonder if I should get some kind of finders fee?.....

You bet you should!! If the dealeships don't offer a finders fee, ask for it. A long time ago I sold autos and was glad to pay finders fees to folks who ran business my way. It was a very cheap form of advertizement. However, if you don't get it, at least you have the consolation of guiding your family in the right direction.

Wow I would think you should get a finders fee...most dealers would be very happy to have you sending customers there way!

My salesperson for my new car told me, and also sent a letter in the mail, that they will give me $25.00 for anyone I send them their way that buys a vehicle. Not much but hey better than nothing. She said even when my husband buys his next pickup (if he buys from them) in a couple years she will give me the $25.

Ask the dealer. You have nothing to lose.
