Generator Install
Can anyone give some advice as to what is needed to install a generator from the electrical standpoint? Our 3685 has the gen prep, but how does one connect the generator to the electrical system of the coach and what is needed to do that (not just the hookup that provides for hours run and electric start harness which is already there) ?
I can get a Generac 5500LP for about $2100, but what the electrical hookup and what is necessary has me a bit baffled...the RV place whants $4200 for a 5500LP Onan so i thought I maight save a few bucks here if I could..
