The Lincoln LT Pickup Truck.......
http://www.lincoln.com/vehicles/newv...lt/default.asp
Now that's luxury. Only available in 1/2 ton configuration but I would imagine the 3/4 and 1 tons aren't far down the road.
Think I'll wait for the Rolls Royce one ton dually with a Duramax V-12 1000hp diesel with 1500 lb-ft of torque and the Allison 5000 series ten-speed automatic transmission. Of course it will only be avalable in a stretch Crew Cab version and you're gonna need a chauffeur.
Pardon me, do you have any Gray Poupon?

Glenn -
You'd look good in that chauffeur hat with Lorraine riding in the back.

Glenn,
I can just picture us with that dream truck! No sooner than you buy what you think is the best combination for you, then the next year's models offer something bigger and better. I was just telling someone the other day that what I'd love to find is a Cummins HO with a Allison tranny with the built-in brake controller. How's that for a Big 3 Combo?

Bill Hill, I agree that a Cummins HO, Allison and integrated bake controller would be a terrific combination. The only other thing I'd like is an integrated fifth wheel hitch from the factory.

Brad,
I hadn't thought about that, but it would made a lot of sense to build the frame with it all set up to accept whichever hitch you wanted to put on. I see now where GM is offering a touch-screen nav system on Tahoes, to bad they don't offer it on their trucks. How many of you would have picked-up that option? I sure would have.
