Icemaker

And, the "icemaker off" indication is somewhat confusing. There is a icemaker off button, and when depressed, a little blue light might come on. That "on" light actually indicated that the icemaker is off.

One more tip. Once you have the water connect, all the valves on, icemaker on (no little blue indicator light), there is a reset button under the ice maker that you might have to press a few times to purge the water line. You cant see the button, it's on the bottom of the ice maker, towards the front, about in the middle. Press and hold the button for a couple of seconds. The ice maker will go through the motions of dumping ice and filling the tray.
I have followed the instructions on the valves and the indicator light, but I can’t locate a button on the icemaker. Still no water flowing to the icemaker.....what am I missing??

Ours wasn't working either. The valve behind the cabinet was off and when I turned it on it leaked. Had to replace the ferrule on the 1/4'' blue plastic line. After I connected it and turned it on I heard water running underneath the RV near the axle. The cap on the low point drain was loose. You might try loosening that cap and turn the valves on to see if it has water there and if there are any air pockets in the line. Once I got everything connected and turned on mine finally took off. Been working perfectly ever since. never did anything inside the freezer.

Thanks for the feedback. Checked the low water drain line, the two valves are turned on, but still no water to the icemaker. The one thing I can’t find is the magic button on the icemaker assembly. Guess I’ll have to get some ice trays.

Here is a picture of the button. Looking up at the bottom of the ice maker. Bottom of the picture is the front of the freezer. Push & hold until the ice maker starts to cycle.

Icemaker

Well, miracles or maybe simple physics still happen! After draining the low point water line, plus turning on the under cabinet valve, the icemaker is producing ice! Thanks to all who posted to this thread.

Thanks, Tom. My icemaker doesn’t have a front panel like that. Maybe Samsung changed for 2020. Got two trays of ice to drop but nothing more. Complex little gadget, valves and all. Still fidgeting with it.

JA Cox, my 2020 295RL has the Samsung fridge with ice maker. The infamous button is located on the bottom of the ice maker. You will not be able to see it unless you use your phone, in selfie mode. The button is towards the front and in the middle.

I have to kinda feel my way around to find the button.

2019 Montana 3121 ice maker not working

Hi all. I have a 2019 Montana 3121re
My ice maker is not getting any water. I turned the valve under the island on. Also have water. To low point out side under slide out. Checked under oven and bottom draw to to left of oven for shutoff valve No luck. I’ve pushed reset button under ice maker numerous times. Still no luck. Maybe shutoff valve behind fridge.?

Typically not behind fridge. Your shutoff may be in the pantry? if it is next to the fridge. I read someone else found theirs in that location. Keep in mind that the shut off valve you are looking for is the last one in the run to the back of the fridge, so it has to be within about 5 feet of the rear of the fridge.
Look behind, inside cabinets on either side of fridge. Should be down low, at floor level typically. The 3120/21 are one of the most popular models, so surely someone else will chime in soon if they found theirs.

Sorry, haven't been on in awhile.
We had two caps in a plastic bag when we got the fifth. One cap was for the drain by the axles that when capped we have ice. The other is for the rear drain that drains the fresh water tank.

Look In the lower cabinet to the left of the fridge. You have to remove about six screws to get the rear panel off. The cut off valve will be behind the rear panel. Good luck . Once I turned the valve on and hit the button on the bottom of the icemaker I have had ice plenty.
