Gen tripping GFI's

Well I could have searched for my last post regarding this but it's easier to start a new one. Sorry....

Onan 3600 LPG generator with a Magnum 2K inverter and solar. Inverter on, start the gen, as soon as the transfer switch clicks....so do the GFI's. The 20 amp GFI breaker doesn't trip. WTH?

I'm considering eliminating the GFI's
Honey dont drop your hair dryer in the sink!!!

Update:
Bypassed the kitchen island GFI and problem solved. The basement GFI hasn't tripped since. I used an outlet tester and all outlets work and wired correctly. A bad GFI? I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this floating ground thing.

Does your unit have a floating ground. Our Honda does, so we use a bonded plug. You can make one or buy one. It is just a plug with a wire between the ground and neutral terminal. All four Super Solar units at last year’s rally had Hughes Watchdogs installed. We all need bonded plugs so I made four of them. But, they are relatively cheap. I just plug it into an outlet on either of my Hondas.
Here is a link to all kinds of them:

This explains the need for a bonded plug.https://thecampingnerd.com/rv-surge-...r-open-ground/

My Onan is built in and hard wired to the transfer switch.

Is it hard wired to the frame? My guess is on yours you have a bad gfi. Especially if you had power to some outlets and not others. On ours, my Watchdog would not let any power through.
