Front Air Conditioner needs to be reset daily

I have In Command and front and rear air. Last summer I thought that I needed a 3rd AC unit. Over the winter I realized that my front AC unit would stop working for no reason and I have to shut it off with the In Command, wait 15 seconds and turn it back on for it to work again. So it's a simple problem and not a broken AC unit.



Anyone know the reason why it is doing this?

I don't have the In Command system, but I have experienced the problem you mention, as have many others. In my case, I have the Dometic AC units and their capacitive touch thermostats. It seems to be a problem with the thermostat. Several people have replaced theirs with one from EasyTouch RV https://www.microair.net/products/ea...32199143587924.

The wires that IC system uses to communicate are small 2 conductor cables that use tiny 4 pin Molex connectors, you may have a loose connection at the unit. Worth taking a look - they connect to the A/C Gateway Box under the front sheetmetal in the unit.

A mobile tech pulled out one of these wires at the connector during an unsuccessful attempt to repair my heat pump (I wound up fixing both myself).
